October 2024 incentives for Alto estate agents

For the whole of October, the Alto and Movemnt teams are providing a £20 instruction bonus, plus a prize draw, for Alto estate agents who complete instructions via Alto’s conveyancing feature and Movemnt network (“Incentive”). These bonuses are on top of your usual earnings from instructions. This month, you could win either: £200, £100, £50. See terms and conditions below for full terms for the incentive and the Prize Draw.

The more instructions you complete in October, the more incentives you receive, and the more chance you have of winning big this October.

Terms and conditions for Incentive:

1. Offer valid for Instructions completed between 00:01 on 1st October and 23:59 on 31st October 2024 (inclusive) (“Closing Date”).

2. To be eligible to receive the Incentive you:
2a. Need to make a unique introduction to a conveyancer via Alto’s conveyancing feature, that results in the end consumer (property buyer/seller) entering into a letter of engagement with the referred conveyancer to provide conveyancing services for their property sale or purchase, based on our records, which must occur within the month of October (“Instruction”); and
2b. Must be (i) an Alto Customer; (ii) over the age of 18 years; and (iii) based in the UK.

3. For each completed Instruction you will receive a £20 bonus, plus an entry into the October 2024 prize draw (“Incentive”).

4. The Incentive will be delivered automatically via email, either to be used on Amazon UK or a prepaid card.

5. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, we may at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw or from receiving the Incentive.

6. There are no limits on the number of Instructions which can be made and each completed Instruction by the Closing Date will qualify for the Gift Card.

Terms and Conditions for the Prize Draw

1. The Promoter

VEBRA SOLUTIONS LIMITED incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 04529917 whose registered office is at The Cooperage, 5 Copper Row, London, England, SE1 2LH (“Promotor”)

2. The prize draw

2.1 The title of the prize draw is October 2024 incentives for Alto estate agents.

2.2 By submitting a prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. How to enter

3.1 To enter the prize draw, you need to:
(a) make a unique introduction to a conveyancer via Alto’s conveyancing feature, that results in the end consumer (property buyer/seller) entering into a letter of engagement with the referred conveyancer to provide conveyancing services for their property sale or purchase based on our records, which must occur within the month of October (“Instruction”); and
(b) Have up to date contact information in Alto.

3.2 Steps on how to complete an Instruction via Alto’s conveyancing feature can be found here.

3.3 The prize draw will run from 00:01 on 1st October to 23:59 on 31st October (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.

3.4 All Instructions must be completed no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. Any Instructions completed after 23:59 on the Closing Date shall automatically be disqualified, even if the process to complete an Instruction started prior to this time.

3.5 We regret that we are unable to accept postal entries.

3.6 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for prize draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.

3.7 The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the prize draw entry form has been submitted, this is to ensure the Prize draw is fair and not tampered with.

4. Eligibility

4.1 The prize draw is only open to residents in the UK aged 18 years or over who are an Alto customer, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

4.2 In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.

4.3 The Promoter will not accept prize draw entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk; or
(c) incomplete.

4.4 [There is no limit on the number of entries an entrant can make and each completed Instruction will count as an entry]. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

4.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to refuse entry, disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw, or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

5. The prize

5.1 The prize is £200 for 1st place, £100 for 2nd place, and £50 for 3rd place, all paid via an Amazon giftcard or prepaid card (the “Prize”).

5.2 Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.

5.3 The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.

6. Winners

6.1 There will be three winners.

6.2 The prize draw winner will be chosen at random through a computerised draw in the first week of November. The decision will be final.

6.3 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

6.4 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the prize winner, to anyone who emails altoconveyancerfeature@altosoftware.co.uk or writes to the address set out in Condition 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the prize draw.

6.5 If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter via altoconveyancerfeature@altosoftware.co.uk or by writing to the address set out in Condition 1. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7. Claiming the Prize

7.1 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner by email to the email address provided in the applicable Content in the first week of November and will be given full details of how to redeem their prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their Prize within 7 days of being contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries that were shortlisted.

7.2 The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

7.3 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize.

8. Limitation of liability

8.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

9. Ownership of prize draw entries and intellectual property rights.

9.1 All Content and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned where not considered to be personal data.

9.2 By submitting your prize draw entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
(a) assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
(b) Waive all moral rights, in and to your Content and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

10. Data protection and publicity

10.1 By entering this prize draw you acknowledge that the Promoter will process and may share your personal data with processors and partners, to administer the personal data processing required to meet these terms. This will include gathering your personal data for entry to the prize draw, selecting a winner and delivering the prize. Your personal data will be processed by the Promoter, processor and partners in compliance with data protection law. See also condition 6.2 and condition 6.3, with regard to the announcement of winners..

10.2 The Promoter may need to process your personal data for legal or regulatory purposes, where we do so it will be in compliance with English law.

10.3 The Promoter will not process your personal data gathered for this Prize Draw for any other purpose other than detailed in 64, 6.5, 10.1 and 10.2 without your consent.

11. General

11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

11.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
